Establish a Deposit Account with Nordic Patent Institute

It is now possible for Nordic Patent Institute customers to establish a deposit account in Danish Krone (DKK) to simplify the payment of fees to the Institute.

A deposit account can be used to pay all fees which are payable directly to Nordic Patent Institute, such as fees relating to searching of additional independent inventions (PCT Rule 40.2), protest fees and fees relating to PCT chapter II. It can also be used to pay for prior art search services.

In order to open an account, you need to download, print and fill out the contract form - Deposit Account Agreement (PDF file) and send two signed copies of the contract by mail to Nordic Patent Institute. The contract form contains the terms and conditions of establishing and using the deposit account. Upon receipt of the signed contract, Nordic Patent Institute will provide you with an account number.
