Fees charged by the Nordic Patent Institute as an ISA

The Nordic Patent Institute charges the following fees when acting as an International Searching Authority.

Fees apply from 1st January 2012

Kind of Fee

International search fee	13 310 DKK 280 000 ISK 13 890 NOK
Search fee refund:
If earlier International Search Report or ITS report can be used	50 %	The earlier report must be forwarded and relate to an earlier application from which priority is claimed
If earlier national search report can be used	25 %	The earlier report must be forwarded and relate to an earlier application from which priority is claimed
Fee for each additional independent invention (ISA)	13 310 DKK	Payment may be made under protest and is refundable if protest is justified
Fee for copies of documents cited in ISR	50 DKK	Per document
Fee for ITS: basic fee (if requested in national application in DK, IS, NO)	4500 DKK 100 000 ISK 5125 NOK
basic fee (if requested in other national applications)	7000 DKK
fee for each additional independent invention	7000 DKK	Payment may be made under protest and is refundable if protest is justified
fee for each claim in excess of 10	200 DKK 4400 ISK 250 NOK
Supplementary International Search (SIS)	13 310 DKK
